Agency Description The Mayor's Commission on Aging (MCOA) is an agency established to address the unique challenges and opportunities facing older adults in the City of Philadelphia. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors by promoting their rights, fostering community engagement, and advocating for policies and programs that support healthy aging. The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Program Coordinator supports the daily operations of the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program by recruiting, onboarding, and managing volunteers aged 55 and older. This role ensures high-quality volunteer experience, maintains compliance with AmeriCorps requirements, and coordinates service activities such as healthy futures, economic opportunity, and aging in place. The role reports to the RSVP Program Director.
