About The Position
The RPA (UiPath) Technical Lead will lead automation work for a client in the property and casualty insurance domain. The role combines technical leadership, solution design and delivery, production operations, and advisory support to senior management. The lead is expected to assess automation feasibility, design and deliver end-to-end RPA projects, guide junior developers, and work independently with client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams. The position is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and requires working from the office three days per week. It requires at least 10 years of overall experience, at least 5 years of UiPath experience, and at least 2 years in a UiPath technical lead role. Strong insurance business process analysis knowledge is required.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of overall experience.
- At least 5 years of UiPath experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a UiPath technical lead role.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath RPA, including UiPath 2026, Orchestrator, Robot, Studio, UiPath ReFramework, UiPath Insights, Document Understanding, and UiPath AI offerings.
- Experience automating SAP, Salesforce, legacy thick-client applications, Outlook, Excel, macros, PDFs, databases, OCR, computer vision, web applications, and API-driven processes.
- Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework 4.5 or later, and VB.NET and/or C#.
- Knowledge of SOA and SOAP/REST services.
- Experience with SQL Server 2019 or later, TFS, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience and knowledge in insurance business process analysis.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work from the Philadelphia office three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior management as an automation lead, drawing on knowledge of current UiPath products, RPA AI offerings, and insurance process analysis.
- Manage RPA production operations during onsite hours and resolve technical issues related to RPA bots and processes.
- Analyze business and technical needs and propose technically appropriate solutions.
- Design RPA project solutions using an effective approach.
- Independently conduct feasibility analysis for RPA projects.
- Independently lead technical meetings with client stakeholders.
- Independently design, develop, and deploy end-to-end RPA projects.
- Lead junior developers in adopting best practices for coding, design, quality, and performance.
- Understand technical issues and collaborate with the technical team to resolve them.
- Review and guide junior developers’ technical work products.
- Produce design documents and review SDLC work products and documentation.
- Assist the project manager with planning, effort estimation, scheduling, change management, scoping, project monitoring, and risk management.
- Work as an automation lead with offshore delivery teams and manage hand-offs.
