About The Position

Sunbelt Home Solutions is hiring experienced Texcote installers to join its professional contractor network. The role involves traveling between The Villages and Orlando-area markets to complete exterior coating projects. This is a 1099 subcontractor position with consistent, year-round work for qualified contractors. Sunbelt offers support from an experienced operations team and the opportunity to grow a business with a Florida contractor. Top-performing crews have earning potential of $200,000–$300,000 or more annually.

Contractors must complete Sunbelt-sponsored official Texcote application training before beginning work, operate through their own LLC or registered business entity, and maintain active general liability insurance, full workers’ compensation coverage, and valid auto insurance. The work requires lifting 50 pounds or more and working safely on ladders and scaffolding in outdoor conditions.

Requirements

• Complete the official Texcote application training class sponsored by Sunbelt before beginning work.
• Operate under an LLC or registered business entity.
• Maintain active general liability insurance, full workers’ compensation coverage, and valid auto insurance.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds or more and work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and outdoors.
• Have strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship.
• Have reliable transportation and a professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Lead certification is preferred, especially for homes built before 1978.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exterior surfaces by pressure washing, patching, sanding, masking, and priming.
• Apply Texcote Coolwall coatings using approved spray, roll, or brush methods.
• Ensure proper texture, color consistency, and compliance with application standards.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites throughout projects.
• Perform quality-control checks and final walkthroughs.
• Work with project managers to meet timelines and expectations.
