About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Route Specialist to cover open routes during vacation and holiday schedules. Route Specialists perform the same functions as Route Service Sales Representatives but do not have a set customer base. They provide route service to business customers by picking up, cleaning, maintaining, and delivering uniform and facility services products. They fill in for absent Route Service Sales Representatives and increase catalog sales by adding products from the Cintas catalog line.

The role requires meeting Department of Transportation or provincial requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 pounds. Cintas describes opportunities for advancement, ongoing training, mentoring, and developing business skills.

Requirements

• Meet applicable Department of Transportation or provincial requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 pounds.
• Have an active driver's license before the first day of employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain a DOT medical certification before the first day of employment.
• Provide documentation regarding previous employment before the first day of employment.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
• Be self-motivated and able to work in a teamwork-oriented environment to meet goals.
• Have a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.

Responsibilities
