About The Position

The Route Specialist is a route-based, service-oriented position that supports Customer Advocates in establishing, maintaining, and building strong customer relationships through responsive and creative sales and service strategies. The role supports customer service and route operations, including inventory management, paperwork accuracy, special deliveries, lead generation, and providing route relief when needed. The position occasionally requires covering delivery routes and operating company vehicles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean driving record.
Must possess a valid DOT medical certification or obtain one within a designated timeframe.
Must meet DOT eligibility requirements and be comfortable operating company vehicles as needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and push and pull carts of linen.
Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

Some delivery, logistics, and/or route experience.
One year of experience with account management and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Practical insight specific to the textile services industry and operations.

Responsibilities

Support and promote ImageFIRST’s values and approach to positively impact associates, customers, and the community.
Communicate with customers through oral, written, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
Load and unload trucks and organize truck contents.
Manage customer inventory.
Maintain product knowledge, including pricing, codes, colors, sizing, changes and quantities, availability, and product application.
Prepare and follow up on work orders and ensure invoice accuracy.
Provide route relief to cover Customer Advocate vacations and call-offs.
Provide additional route support as needed, including reroutes and additional volume.
Make special deliveries to customers.
Generate leads.
