About The Position
UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Supervisor to supervise and work with Route Service Representatives who deliver to multiple customers each day, from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. This entry-level management position is intended for a career-minded individual interested in advancement. The supervisor oversees representative training and development, responds to service requests, negotiates customer contract renewals, and builds strong relationships with customers and team members. The role works closely with other leaders and managers to provide customer service and product programs, and provides route coverage when a representative is sick or on vacation. This coverage also offers an opportunity to check on representatives’ performance and customer satisfaction and loyalty. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence.
- Reliable transportation.
- Meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Communication and language skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Nice To Haves
- Some college.
- Prior leadership, customer service, route sales, delivery, and/or entrepreneurial experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the training and development of a team of Route Service Representatives.
- Respond to service requests.
- Negotiate customer contract renewals.
- Build strong relationships with customers and team members.

- Provide route coverage when a Route Service Representative is sick or on vacation.
