About The Position

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is hiring a Route Service Representative to serve customers in and around Central Pennsylvania. The role involves driving a designated route, servicing existing customers, building relationships, and representing Dempsey to customers. The position is full-time with a four-day work week, Monday through Friday, with daytime hours from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and weekends off. The representative maintains service quality and inventory, identifies customer needs and additional products or services, and helps expand the route. The role also includes conducting audits, negotiating service agreement renewals, and resolving customer concerns. Work must be performed professionally and safely while following driving and vehicle regulations. Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply provides rental uniforms, linens, and floor mats, including weekly pickup, cleaning, and delivery services. Requirements

Be at least 22 years old for vehicle insurance purposes.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
Be physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
Have exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
