About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to recruit and lead Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who serve multiple customers each day, from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for the location. The role involves working closely with customers and the location management team, and supporting the development of the route service team. The position offers training, opportunities for career mobility and advancement, a family-oriented culture, and no nights or weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior customer service experience.
Ability to problem-solve and handle a variety of customer service situations.
Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team.
Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be 21 years of age.
Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence.
Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Individuals who drive personal vehicles for business purposes must comply with UniFirst’s minimum auto insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors.
Build strong customer relationships and improve the team’s customer-satisfaction performance.
Collaborate with the location management team to provide customer service and product programs.
Negotiate customer contract renewals.
Drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for the location.
