About The Position

InReach is seeking a detail-oriented Route Scheduling Coordinator located in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for optimizing the dynamic scheduling of vending assets and routing of delivery/service vehicles using a vending management system (VMS). The goal is to ensure efficient vending operations by leveraging system data, scheduling tools, and route optimization software to improve service levels, reduce costs, and maximize driver productivity. Requirements

  • Experience with vending management systems, fleet scheduling software, or related logistics platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently but as part of a team.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Logistics background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the vending management system for route scheduling, machine monitoring, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate location and route data within the systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT or vendor support.
  • Develop, update, and manage dynamic route schedules based on real-time data to meet daily timing and planning requirements.
  • Ensure driver routes are efficient, balanced, and compliant with service level agreements.
  • Adjust schedules proactively in response to volume changes, machine breakdowns, or staffing shortages.
  • Work closely with Branch Leadership to ensure smooth execution of daily schedules.
  • Provide reporting and insights on route performance, driver productivity, and machine service frequency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements through better route design.
  • Communicate route changes clearly and promptly to all affected team members.
  • Bring opportunities to improve the system, processes, and the scheduling/routing program to Management.
