About The Position
Pepsi MidAmerica is hiring a Route Sales Trainee for local routes in Robinson, Illinois, and surrounding areas. The role includes paid training to obtain a Class A CDL and requires no long-haul driving; employees return home daily. Trainees learn the business through orientation, formal sales training, and ride-alongs with team members. The position pays $49,400–$52,000 annually, with a commission opportunity and minimum guaranteed pay.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds.
- Ability to work 8+ hours per day.
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL and Medical DOT Card.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle and deliver products to local customers.
- Stock, rotate, and merchandise products.
- Collect payments and obtain customer signatures.
- Complete daily paperwork and follow safety inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Obtain a CDL permit, pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card, complete orientation and formal sales training, ride along with team members, and earn a Class A CDL.
