About The Position

The Route Driver role is based in Kearney, Nebraska, and involves driving a local business delivery route. Routes begin in the early morning, between 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., depending on the assigned route, and generally end in the early to mid-afternoon. End times vary with order volume. Drivers average 45–50 hours per week. Longer routes are moving toward a four-day schedule averaging about 45 hours per week, with occasional five-day weeks to cover routes as needed. The role is described as a Monday–Friday route with drivers home every night. New hires with a CDL are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and quarterly bonus opportunities are available; for hires without a CDL, the bonus clock starts when they obtain their CDL.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a current Class A CDL or be able to obtain one within three months.
• Have a good driving record.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned local business route.
