About The Position

As a Truck Team Member at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, you help provide an exceptional customer experience while performing hands-on junk removal, recycling, donation, and site-cleanup work. The role also includes customer service and sales activities, such as providing cost estimates, recommending additional services, and building relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals. Requirements

• Comfortable safely lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and passion for outstanding customer service.
• Confidence discussing pricing and identifying customer needs to promote additional services.
• Strong collaboration skills for working in a small team.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record for the past three years for insurance purposes.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and load items safely and efficiently into the truck.
• Identify items for recycling, donation, or proper disposal.
• Clean job sites after removals.
• Greet customers, explain services, and answer questions.
• Offer solutions tailored to customers’ junk removal needs.
• Recommend additional services to support customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Provide cost estimates and explain pricing to customers.
• Promote services and applicable add-ons.
• Build rapport to secure repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with teammates to plan and complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain communication with the team and management.
