About The Position

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring a Route Driver and Laborer for its La Grange franchise. Team members work in pairs, driving commercial trucks to customers’ homes and properties to remove unwanted items and provide friendly customer service. The position includes inspecting the vehicle, attending a morning meeting, preparing customer estimates and final pricing, and disposing of items responsibly through recycling, donation, and waste management facilities. Team members stay in communication with the operations team and help serve the community. CDL is not required.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for commercial truck insurance.
Valid driver’s license; a CDL is not required.
Clean driving record; motor vehicle records will be checked for the past five years.
Positive, friendly attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds or more.
Previous sales and customer service experience will aid success on the team.
Must work one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities
