About The Position

Primary Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and support NOV products and systems. Train customers on the safe and proper operation of equipment and software. Perform field upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Provide technical support and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner. Communicate field observations, equipment performance, and customer feedback to internal teams. Maintain a high level of customer service while representing NOV in the field. Job Duties Conduct field installations, calibrations, inspections, and functional testing of sensors and systems. Perform software and hardware upgrades on customer equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues. Complete service reports, billing documentation, inventory transactions, and other required paperwork accurately and on time. Maintain company tools, equipment, and inventory assigned for field operations. Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure successful project execution. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements. Participate in on-call support as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience preferred.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and satisfy all internal driver eligibility requirements, including compliance with company policies, licensing standards, insurance requirements, and driving record criteria.
  • Knowledge of oilfield equipment, software, and hardware systems preferred.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel more than 75% of the time and work a 14-day on, 14-day off rotational schedule.
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon the completion of background and drug screenings, conducted in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
