About The Position

Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician, Crushing Products to provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity. This is a Full Time, Permanent position with rotational 14x14 or 21x21 day rotations. The listed wage is $51.46, which is one component of our total rewards package, and eligibility to additional premiums may be available.

Requirements

• Post secondary education in the field of heavy equipment mechanics, industrial mechanics or experienced millwrights
• 2 years' experience in the maintenance and repair of crushing or screening equipment
• A valid driver’s license is required and willingness to travel within an assigned territory

Nice To Haves

• Work experience in the construction or mining sectors is an asset

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using testing equipment and leveraging top tier technical skills
• Maintain quality workmanship to inspect, repair and rebuild crushing & screening equipment within the established time standards out in the field
• Undertake new equipment installations and commissioning
• Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits and timely service reporting
