About The Position
WQS Non-Destructive Testing (WQS NDT) is recruiting experienced, proficient, CGSB certified Rope Access Technicians for Fall 2026 Turnaround scopes. Turnaround employment opportunities are available in both Central Alberta and Northern Alberta. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to join their local WQS NDT Call-Out team afterwards. The anticipated duration of the contract is from September 2026 to October 2026. Flights and camp accommodations are provided by the company.
Requirements
- Experienced, proficient, CGSB certified Rope Access Technicians.
- IRATA Certified.
- Fit for Duty at all times.
- Able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace (including alcohol and drug testing).
- Solid technical skills and proven track record as a proficient NDT technician.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Demonstrate high standards of safety.
Nice To Haves
- Multi-ticketed CGSB Technicians.
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
- First Aid Certification.
- Confined Space Certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using rope access techniques.
