About The Position
WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Insulators for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season. Major projects are located in the Fort McMurray and Edmonton regions. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team with a people-first culture, contributing to a season focused on excellence and innovation. The schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour days. The anticipated turnaround duration is from August 2026 to October 2026. Flights and camp accommodations are provided by the company. A competitive Local Incentive Program (LIP) is available for IRATA Level 3 employees local to Fort McMurray.
Requirements
- Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification, or an interest in obtaining IRATA Certification.
- Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Insulator certification.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times.
- Ability to comply with alcohol and drug testing.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Non-ticketed Insulators are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
- Common Safety Orientation Certification.
- Confined Space Certification.
Responsibilities

- Comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing.
