About The Position

WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Ironworkers for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season. Major projects are located in the Fort McMurray and Edmonton regions. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team with a people-first culture, contributing to a season focused on excellence and innovation. The schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour days. The anticipated turnaround duration is from August 2026 to October 2026. Flights and camp accommodations are provided by the company.

Requirements

  • Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is required.
  • Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Red Seal Ironworker Certification required.
  • Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
  • Common Safety Orientation Certification.
  • Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as an IRATA Certified, Journeyman or Apprentice Ironworker during the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season.
  • Adhere to a schedule of 6 days on, 1 day off, working 12-hour days.
