About The Position

WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Rope Access Technicians for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season, with major projects in the Fort McMurray region. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team, enjoy a people-first culture, and contribute to a season focused on excellence. The anticipated turnaround schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour shifts. The duration of the contract is from August 2026 to October 2026. Flights and camp accommodations are provided by the company. A competitive Local Incentive Program (LIP) is available to IRATA Level 3 employees local to Fort McMurray.

Requirements

• Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is required.
• Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
• Common Safety Orientation.
• Confined Space Certification.
