About The Position

The Rooms Coordinator is responsible for managing daily room assignments to maximize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating guest arrivals, departures, upgrades, VIP accommodations, and special requests. The coordinator will work closely with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and prioritize arrivals, while also monitoring room status and communicating changes to operational departments. Additionally, the position supports Front Office operations during high-volume periods, resolves guest concerns, and maintains accurate records within hotel systems, ensuring compliance with all hotel standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform guest check-ins and checkouts.
  • Must be available to work overnight shifts a minimum of two (2) nights per week.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel Front Office, Guest Services, Rooms Control, or Reservations experience preferred.
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
