About The Position

ProHealth Care Food Services is hiring a part-time Room Service Tray Runner at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The role serves customers in a friendly, courteous, and effective manner; prepares food according to customer requests and food-safety procedures; and supports retail operations through cashiering, short-order cooking, stocking, and food rotation. The employee must be able to work independently with minimal direction and flex among the four positions within the retail operation.

The position is scheduled for 24 hours every two weeks. Shift start times range from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and end times range from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., depending on the scheduled position. Every other weekend and a rotating holiday schedule are required. Cross-training and possible morning opportunities may be available. This is a 0.30 FTE, part-time position with no benefits.

Requirements

• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and a rotating holiday schedule.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Flexibility to work in any of the four positions within the retail operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties necessary to serve food.
• Maintain cleanliness and quality in food production and serving areas.
• Keep equipment in acceptable and sanitary condition.
• Operate the register and handle receipts and cash according to department procedures.
• Cook and assemble food items according to established procedures and customer requests.
• Follow ServSafe and HACCP guidelines in food production areas.
• Store, date, and label leftover food according to established procedures.
• Rotate food items to support freshness and safety while minimizing food waste.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report unsafe conditions involving food, property, or equipment.
• Complete daily food requisitions for 725 Grille.
• Troubleshoot complaints in conjunction with leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Work across the four positions within the retail operation, including cashiering, short-order cooking, stocking, and rotating food products.
