About The Position

The Room Service Server delivers in-room dining to guests at ADERO Scottsdale Resort with warmth, accuracy, and attention to presentation. The role sets up and delivers orders to guest rooms, verifies quality and completeness, and provides discreet, gracious service. Working closely with the kitchen and room service team, the server helps ensure a seamless in-room experience and contributes to guest satisfaction and the property's reputation for personalized service.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members; language requirements are confirmed by the property at the time of posting.
Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and verify guest age in accordance with applicable law and property policy.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on occupancy.
Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Previous room service or fine dining experience.
Bilingual ability appropriate to the property's guests.
Familiarity with point of sale systems.

Responsibilities

Set up and deliver in-room dining orders accurately and attractively.
Verify order completeness, quality, and presentation before delivery.
Provide gracious, discreet in-room service and setup.
Verify guest age and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with applicable law and property policy.
Process charges and obtain signatures accurately.
Retrieve trays and tables promptly from guest floors.
Communicate timing and special requests with the kitchen.
Maintain cleanliness and stock of the room service area.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
