About The Position
The Dining Room Server assists with the overall functioning of the dietary department under the general direction of the Culinary Director and Dining Room Manager. The role provides dining services to residents and helps maintain dining and kitchen areas. All shifts are available, and weekend availability may be required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for residents.
- Set up dining room tables for meal times.
- Serve resident meals.
- Clean the dining room, kitchen, or other areas as directed by management.
- Assist with preparing snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service.
- Transport trash and linen to the disposal area.
- Follow and complete a daily task spreadsheet to ensure all work is completed.
- Note refrigeration temperatures.
- Assist with special events and catering functions.
- Assist with plating and delivery of meals to remote locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.
