About The Position

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will perform routine duties to ensure the hotel and brand’s standards for cleanliness and service. You will help provide exceptional guest experiences by cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas. Work may include laundry, common-area cleaning, and room cleaning. The position is based at the SpringHill Suites at 1000 Charles Ewing Blvd, Ewing, NJ 08628. This is a full-time position, five days per week. Schedules and days will vary; shift end times may change based on business needs and occupancy. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Weekend shifts include a $1 per hour premium. Starting pay is $19.06 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to brand standards within the allotted time.
• Vacuum carpets and furniture.
• Clean and dust furniture.
• Clean kitchenettes and wash dishes in suites.
• Change bed linens.
• Clean guest room bathrooms.
• Maintain the linen cart and keep supplies neatly organized.
• Ensure the security of guest rooms and guests’ privacy.
• Work in areas of housekeeping that may include laundry, common-area cleaning, and room cleaning.
