About The Position

The Room Attendant performs cleaning duties to maintain hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner. The role includes preparing beds, replenishing linens and supplies, cleaning rooms, bathrooms and halls, and vacuuming. Associates are paid weekly and are expected to meet brand-standard room cleaning times, work within recognized time frames, and maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality. The position requires effective time management and communication with guests, management, and team members. Room Attendants must work effectively under time constraints in a fast-paced environment, follow hotel policies and safety procedures, meet or exceed productivity standards, and contribute to positive, respectful teamwork. The role may include cross-training and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Pass a criminal background check.
Effectively manage time, including time spent per room, planning, and prioritizing.
Communicate with guests, management, and team members.
Work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
Follow safety procedures and applicable hotel policies.

Nice To Haves

Prior housekeeping experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Make beds, replenish linens, clean rooms, bathrooms and halls, and vacuum.
Load and unload the housekeeping cart with supplies, replace cleaning supplies, and keep the cart clean, neat, and stocked.
Report problems and needed maintenance repairs.
Communicate room status, work progress, and guest requests or problems to the supervisor.
Record and turn in all lost-and-found items.
Immediately report unsafe conditions.
Complete other assigned duties, including cross-training.
Meet brand-standard room cleaning times and recognized time frames for assigned tasks.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety procedures while meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
