About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Room Attendant for its Element & Aloft properties. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public areas to company standards, ensuring rooms are supplied with clean linens and guest amenities, and following hotel safety, security, and lost-and-found procedures. The attendant is also expected to maintain knowledge of the hotel, its services and operating hours, and nearby surroundings, and to provide guest service that meets or exceeds expectations. This position is tipped eligible. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Knowledge of cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize rooms and public areas to company-mandated standards.
Ensure rooms have clean linen, bedding, and towels.
Follow the hotel’s safety and security procedures.
Maintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, services, service hours, and surroundings.
Ensure rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, and other items.
Identify guest belongings left behind and report them according to the hotel’s lost-and-found procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
