About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Room Attendant for the Holiday Inn Oceanside in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The position supports the hotel’s service culture by cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public areas to company standards, replenishing linens and room supplies, following safety and security procedures, and assisting guests by maintaining knowledge of hotel services and the surrounding area. This position is tipped eligible. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Knowledge of cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize rooms and public areas to company-mandated standards.
Ensure rooms have clean linen, bedding, and towels.
Follow hotel safety and security procedures.
Maintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, services, hours of operation, and nearby places such as malls and restaurants.
Ensure rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, and other supplies.
Identify items guests have left behind and report them according to the hotel’s lost-and-found procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
