About The Position

Holiday Inn Express & Suites is part of the IHG family of hotels and aims to provide guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The Housekeeping Room Inspector ensures guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards. The inspector reviews room attendants’ work, provides feedback and training, and assists with housekeeping duties as needed to maintain the expected standard of cleanliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory or inspector experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness, supply stocking, and overall presentation.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, hotel policies, and health and safety regulations.
Coach, provide feedback to, and support housekeeping staff in maintaining performance and quality standards.
Communicate maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance department to resolve them promptly.
Report occupancy status to management and assist with room assignment coordination.
Assist with housekeeping duties, including room cleaning, when necessary.
Maintain accurate inspection records and assist with inventory control.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
