About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Room Attendant for the Holiday Inn Oceanside in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public areas to company standards, preparing rooms with clean linens and supplies, and following hotel safety, security, and lost-and-found procedures. The position is part-time and tipped-eligible. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Knowledge of cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize rooms and public areas to company-mandated standards.
Ensure rooms have clean linen, bedding, and towels.
Follow hotel safety and security procedures.
Maintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, services, service hours, and surrounding area.
Stock rooms with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, and other supplies.
Identify items guests leave behind and report them according to the hotel's lost-and-found procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
