About The Position

As a Room Attendant with Kimpton, you will clean guest rooms and common areas while providing outstanding service to guests. You will act as an advocate for the hotel, create personal guest experiences, and develop relationships that encourage guests to return.

Requirements

One year of experience in customer service or a similar role.
Excellent problem-solving ability and intuition.
Genuine concern for guest safety and security.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish, and service guest rooms daily according to hotel procedures.
Replace bed linens, replenish guest room supplies, empty wastebaskets, and rearrange furnishings, drapes, and room accessories.
Provide guests with necessary linen and amenities in accordance with the guest room legend.
Arrange rooms uniformly as determined by the Executive Housekeeper and ensure doors are closed and rooms are locked.
Report damage, hazards, repair needs, and unfamiliar people in assigned areas.
Turn in items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back-of-house areas to Housekeeping as lost and found, and log the date, location, description, and finder.
Clean corridors and service areas and respond to projects or requests from the Housekeeping management team.
Safeguard the pass key and turn it in at the end of the shift or according to hotel guidelines.
Restock the cart and organize the linen closet at the end of the shift to prepare for the next day.
Report unusual circumstances, including rooms with no luggage, requests for no service, sleep-outs, or guests smoking in rooms, to the on-duty supervisor or manager.
Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
