About The Position

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will perform routine duties to ensure the hotel and brand’s high standards for cleanliness and service. You will help provide exceptional guest experiences by properly cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas. Work may include laundry, common-area cleaning, and room cleaning. The position is based at the Courtyard by Marriott at 360 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ 08628. Full-time schedules are five days per week, with day and mid shifts available; a part-time option is also described as three days per week or weekends only. Days and shifts vary, and weekend and holiday availability is required. Shift end times may change based on business needs and occupancy levels. Weekend shifts include a $1 per hour premium. Starting pay is $19.06 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to brand standards within the allotted time.
• Vacuum carpets and furniture.
• Clean and dust furniture.
• Clean kitchenettes and wash dishes in suites.
• Change bed linens.
• Clean guest room bathrooms.
• Maintain the linen cart and keep supplies neatly organized.
• Ensure the security of guest rooms and the privacy of guests.
