FT Room Attendant
About The Position
The Housekeeping Room Attendant performs a variety of housekeeping functions while providing guests with attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Duties include cleaning guest rooms in a timely manner according to brand standards, assisting with guest requests, performing laundry work, and maintaining cleanliness in back-of-house and public areas. The attendant also helps ensure other housekeeping attendants have adequate guest-room supplies and linen. The schedule varies across all seven days of the week, including weekends and holidays. Compensation is $15.45 per hour.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED certification is helpful, or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- Previous hotel or industrial experience is desired, preferably in full-service hotels.
- Experience working in various assignments within the same or other hotel departments is preferred.
- Ability to remain on one's feet throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

- Bilingual ability is desired.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms promptly and ensure room amenities meet brand standards.
- Assist guests with requests.
- Wash, dry, iron, and/or fold hotel linen for use by departments.
- Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas and the general appearance of public areas.
- Assist other housekeeping attendants to ensure an adequate supply of guest-room materials and linen.
