About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Attendant performs a variety of housekeeping functions while providing guests with attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Duties include cleaning guest rooms promptly according to brand standards and assisting with guest requests; washing, drying, ironing, and/or folding hotel linen for use by departments; and maintaining the cleanliness of back-of-house areas and the general appearance of public areas. The attendant also assists other housekeeping attendants to ensure adequate supplies of guest room materials and linen.

The position pays $15.45 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certification is helpful, or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Previous hotel or industrial experience is desired, preferably in full-service hotels.
• Experience working in various assignments within the same or other hotel departments is preferred.
• Ability to be on your feet throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability is desired.
• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Hotel or related-field experience.
• Previous hotel or industrial experience, preferably in full-service hotels.
