About The Position

The Room Attendant I is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and designated hotel areas to high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. The role helps ensure guests enjoy a positive and memorable stay by providing clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent hospitality and housekeeping standards. The position includes cleaning and servicing guest rooms, replenishing supplies, maintaining housekeeping carts and storage areas, responding courteously to guest requests, and following hotel cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping procedures. The attendant also reports maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items, and assists with other housekeeping and hotel duties as assigned.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, or cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards.
Change bed linens in checkout and stayover rooms according to guest preferences and hotel procedures.
Clean, sanitize, and restock guest bathrooms.
Replace used amenities, towels, linens, and other guest supplies.
Dust furniture, fixtures, and room surfaces; vacuum carpets; and maintain room appearance and cleanliness.
Restock guest room supplies and housekeeping inventory.
Keep housekeeping carts organized, clean, and fully stocked.
Maintain orderly and efficient linen closets and storage areas.
Properly handle and store cleaning products and equipment.
Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.
Respond promptly to guest requests and special needs.
Help create a welcoming environment through attention to detail and service.
Ensure assigned rooms meet company, hotel, and brand cleanliness standards.
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
Follow safety policies and housekeeping procedures.
Assist with additional housekeeping and hotel duties as assigned.
