About The Position

The Roofing Service Foreman is responsible for the crew’s production, safety, and quality of work, and plans day-to-day operations. The foreman supervises and directs the field crew to complete projects in a timely manner while working alongside the crew to install commercial roofing systems. Systems include applied Modified Bitumen, EPDM, heat-welded TPO/PVC membranes, tile, coatings, metal roofing systems, sheet metal, and related roof accessories.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience installing and repairing flat-roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and metal roofs.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
Ability to inspect roofing systems to determine the root cause of issues such as leaks, tears, or clogs.
Knowledge of commercial roofing products and ability to order the correct materials, tools, and equipment.
Leadership skills, including delegation, time management, quality control, and training employees.
Ability to use mobile phone apps to document project completion.

Responsibilities

Install commercial roofing systems, including fully adhered and mechanically fastened single-ply membranes such as TPO, EPDM, and PVC.
Complete and delegate day-to-day activities.
Train and support the team.
Maintain the quality of installations on assigned projects.
Complete required documentation, including PILL, inspection sheets, safety training records, and crew timesheets.
Meet production goals within deadlines.
Problem-solve and resolve issues that arise during projects.
Follow and enforce safety standards.
Plan daily operations and supervise and direct the field crew.
