About The Position

This entry-level position wraps outbound orders in designated loading zones according to company procedures and standards, helping ensure products are safely stowed and organized for delivery. The role has potential to move into a Night Selector position. The expected base rate is $17.81 per hour; compensation may depend on relevant experience or education, skills, function, location, and other applicable factors. Overtime compensation may also apply. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with start times between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and work continues until completion. The position is located in Salem, Missouri. Benefits begin on the first day of employment.

Requirements

Ability to operate a pallet jack.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to read batch labels.
Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must be team-oriented and able to get along with others.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
A minimum of one year of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Build pallets according to preferred methods and wrap them from the bottom through the top cases to help prevent damage during transport; notify a supervisor of issues.
Complete work productively and on time, keeping pallets wrapped according to dispatch times and maintaining the pace needed to avoid hindering loader productivity.
Verify header labels are in the upper-right corner for loaders to locate easily.
Keep the work area free of debris and help loaders by unloading staged trailers containing pallets, blankets, straps, and debris; raise the door, lock the trailer to the dock, and lower the dock plate.
Work in temperatures above 100 degrees and below freezing.
Keep Robo wrappers clean and operational, prevent excess shrink wrap from building up around the guide wheel, do not cut shrink wrap from rollers with a box cutter, do not place stickers on equipment, and wipe equipment down at the end of each shift.
Follow safety work practices and maintain a clean, orderly dock area.
