About The Position
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Roaster Operations Frontline Supervisor for its Goldstrike operation. The successful candidate will work directly with the Roaster Operations team to supervise, support, and develop process operations crews. The role includes training and mentoring operators, conducting employee evaluations, maintaining training records, refining operating strategies and procedures, and completing SAP medium-user tasks. The position requires a rotating schedule of nights and days.
Requirements
- Proven safety record and ability to support the work group in achieving safety, environmental, and production goals.
- Five years of process operations experience.
- Ability to supervise numerous employees at once.
- Ability to facilitate crew lineouts and safety meetings.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures and hold fellow employees and contractors accountable for following them.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Responsibilities
- Directly supervise, support, and professionally develop process operations crew.
- Provide training and mentoring for operators.
- Develop a safe, productive, and high-performing crew while collaborating within the site team and company enterprise.
- Conduct individual employee evaluations.
- Update employee training records and status upgrades.
- Establish and refine operating strategies and procedures to ensure equipment is utilized to its optimum extent.
- Perform SAP medium-user duties, including OTL (Oracle Time Labor) entry and approval, MSS (Manager Self Service), work requests, work orders, move orders, and LMS (Learning Management System).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
