About The Position

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice, uses the nursing process to provide professional nursing care and incorporates patient- and family-centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership and in accordance with policies and procedures in an ambulatory setting. This position is in the CT Imaging Center at Royal Oak Hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree (A.D.N.) or equivalent.
• One year of nursing experience.
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification.
• If not at least BSN-prepared, a new graduate or nurse with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of the licensure date and complete it within five years.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD).
• Specialty certification.
