About The Position
The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice, uses the nursing process to provide professional nursing care incorporating patient- and family-centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care in an ambulatory setting under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership and according to policies and procedures. Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, including over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. The position is based at the CT Imaging Center at Royal Oak Hospital. The schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for 40 scheduled hours per week.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing (A.D.N.) or equivalent from an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of nursing experience.
- State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification.
- If not minimally BSN-prepared, a new graduate or nurse with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete it within five years.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD).
- Specialty certification.
