About The Position

The Registered Nurse performs patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director and provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for patient care and in support of Doctors Hospital’s mission. The role provides care to patients from birth through geriatric age. In the imaging department, the nurse operates diagnostic equipment, verifies images, prepares procedure rooms and supplies, and helps ensure high-quality CT scans and appropriate diagnostic information. The nurse performs CT exams on a variety of body parts, completes patient history forms and technologist exam sheets, starts IVs, and checks laboratory results as needed.

Requirements

• Hold a current Georgia RN license or eNLC license.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within one year of employment start date.
• Obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support within one year of employment start date.

• Previous emergency, pre-hospital, or critical care experience.
