RN - MICU - FT - Nights
About The Position
Provides and coordinates direct care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) using the nursing process. Manages care appropriately for assigned patients with life-threatening illness and/or disease. Demonstrates professional growth and development, and commitment to service, Hamilton’s mission and values, and professionalism. The role works in a typical acute health care setting with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of nursing.
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS certification required.
- Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
- Proficiency in special skills demonstrated through completion of a critical care skills check-off.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
- CCRN preferred.
- Experience preferred.
- Critical Care Course/Internship preferred.
