About The Position

Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in one of the listed clinical departments. The RN assesses patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs; develops and delivers individualized care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team; educates patients and responsible persons; and uses clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition. The role also includes maintaining accurate medical records, meeting Core Measure responsibilities, participating in continuing education, and contributing to a healthy workplace through professional conflict management.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, with on-call work as required. Block scheduling requests cannot be guaranteed. SIH describes itself as a nonprofit health system with almost 4,000 employees and cites national recognition for several specialty services.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS card.
