About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room assesses patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs and collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. The role requires clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions, maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to a healthy workplace through professional communication and conflict management.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, with occasional on-call duties as required. Holiday coverage and accommodation of additional scheduling needs are required. Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Availability for holiday coverage and additional scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients.
