About The Position

The Registered Nurse assesses patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs and collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care. The role includes providing patient and family education, monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition, meeting patient-care core measure responsibilities, maintaining complete medical records, and continuing professional education.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, with on-call requirements as needed. Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. Holiday coverage is required. Units available include the Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Cardiac Services, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Pediatrics, and Birthing Center.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities
