About The Position

The RN OR assesses patients before surgery, prepares the operating room with necessary supplies, implants, instruments, and equipment, and maintains a sterile environment. During surgery, the nurse passes instruments to surgeons and monitors the patient’s vital signs. The role also includes evaluating postoperative patients and reviewing charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols before and after surgical procedures.
