About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Special Full Time Registered Nurse for its Open Heart Intensive Care Unit. The RN plans, coordinates, and monitors daily patient care in collaboration with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. The role is accountable for effectively using available resources, maintaining established standards of care, and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. The RN ensures that variations in care based on individual patient needs are justified and documented, and assists with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
