About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Special Full Time Registered Nurse for its Oncology Department. The RN is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring patient care daily with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. The position is accountable for effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care, and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. The RN ensures that variations in care based on individual patient needs are justified and well documented, and assists with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
