About The Position

The RN provides quality health care services to clients, including assessing somatic conditions and medical needs, communicating with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocols and courses, and creating a favorable group climate to support effective treatment. The role supports Pioneer Human Services’ Behavioral Health Division by performing clinical tasks that contribute to quality, cost-effective medical services for behavioral health clients.

Requirements

Current Washington State Registered Nurse license in good standing.
At least 2 years of registered nursing experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with outside agencies.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Mental health and chemical dependency experience.
Experience with electronic charting.
Knowledge of local resources and services for people who are homeless or low-income, people experiencing chronic behavioral health challenges, or people with histories of involvement in legal systems.
Mental Health Professional qualification under WAC 246-341-0515.
Experience directly treating people with mental illness or who are emotionally disturbed, gained under the supervision of a mental health professional as defined by RCW 71.34.020.
