About The Position

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Healthcare Team at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake, Ohio. The RN assesses resident needs, administers medications and treatments, and supports residents and their families. The role is part of the Weekend Warrior Program and is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Requirements

Hold a current and unrestricted RN license issued by the state nursing board.
Have valid CPR certification.
Have proven experience as an RN in various clinical settings.
Have strong knowledge of nursing principles and protocols.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Use a compassionate, patient-centered approach to nursing care.
Be able to adapt quickly to different work environments and provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

Assess residents’ health by interviewing them and obtaining medical histories.
Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments according to established protocols.
Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs and medical information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical records systems.
Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethical practices.
Stay informed about current nursing practices and regulations.
Provide support to residents and their families.
