About The Position
Sanford Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for the Perham Family Medicine Clinic. The RN uses the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized patient care. The role includes coordinating care, assessing and educating patients, triaging, and providing other nursing interventions. The RN collaborates with physicians and other interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and practices within the scope of nursing expertise using age- and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting. The position follows the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure, as well as Sanford’s nursing practice foundation based on the American Nurses Association’s Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. PRN shifts help cover vacations, leaves, and sick call-ins.
Requirements
- Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care.
- Assess patients and provide patient education.

- Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
